Around my parts, you recognize a pro by them bragging about how much they pay for skis on pro form.

Sent from my SGH-I717D using TGR Forums

I think the real question you should be asking is how many TGR forum posters would you recognize in street clothes?

I saw Colby West playing a round at the Keystone river course. I should have gone up to him and asked, "Aren't you that guy that won the x- games?"

heh. me too... The worst is when you recognize someone you've known a while AFTER walking right by them in the hall and realize they recognized you but you missed it. Not cool.

I was on a plane with Nobis once, I recognized him.

Last April there were like 10 dudes in TGR shirts travelling together from Anchorage to Bozeman I had no clue who any of them were.
Its not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care

maybe Glen Plake with or without the mohawk and of course Lee Lau

Yvon Choinard came into a Valhalla pure store to get camping supplies for a river float and I recognised/met him after which he said to the staff hi I'm from Patagonnia ...kind of an understatement
