    Dynastar Cham 107

Seriously considering picking up a pair...

I've never skied a 5dimension ski. I've ridden Bsquads and XXL's for the past 5 or so seasons. My main priority on snow is to haul ass. I like carving huge racer style turns on hardpack and straightlining anything I can find.

I see they're built with the same construction as the xxl's, but the shape leaves me apprehensive.

Anyone skied them? Should I just pick up another pair of xxl's?

The Cham has the best tip rocker profile Dynastar has come out with to date. As for the tails. It retains the "always there" feeling of an XXL/Big Dump, but when you get into
"strange" spots, it smears around, and even backs up ok. It definitely improves the technical terrain performance, and I didn't notice much of a difference when really hauling either. IMHO the new tip makes the ski a worthy purchase. They don't really ski much shorter than the XXL, due to the full length camber, so buy the size you would ski. I really liked the 190s.

I used to love the xxl's, it was my everyday ski. I only put about 5 runs in on the cham 107 last year, but that was enough to never jump on it again. It has way too much sidecut for my liking and no tail. Very different skis imo. Not as stiff, not nearly as straight. Get some xxl's and custom rocker them...they're amazing that way!!
