Another glorious day at Alpine Meadows... Thanks again to all the patrollers!
Also, I was at work at 1 yesterday and I got 2 laps in keyhole before I left so...
....so BGnight is an Ahole
BG - here's what you need to do - after skiing Alpine the next time, go to the River Ranch and ask for the bartender named Evan and tell him that the AM patrol is seriously retarded and can eat a bag of dicks. - we'll be glad you did - I will give you a couple wooden nickles good for a free cocktail at the RR
put yer money where your mouth is, son - I'm buying

Went brapping around Castle and Andersite. Some pretty good fresh snow in the trees, ridge lines were pretty worked though. I forgot how much work snowmachining is, I think I could have gotten in more lines on my splitboard

I love my Bronze pass ($439 early), were tue-thur non holiday riders. While drinking PBR's at the Crest post laps today we heard about the ticket prices at AM now. What the hell did I miss, $99/day holiday $104. The bartender did tell me they raised drink prices to match squaw but I never would have guessed that was tickets to. Where did all the people on Tue get that kind of cash, or were they all just pass holders? I guess I will have my pass paid off tomorrow at those rates.
Upper Beaver/Estelle were good today, but very boney down low. Finished with a condo run. The cold temps have keep it soft if you can find the untracked not much left.
Drink to remember not to forget!

Anyone see the wreck on 89 north of squaw around 3-330 today. It looked like a boulder rolled down the hillside and took out a car. Ambulance was on the way. Hope it wasn't too bad.
the post is up there, but the pics are not. however, they do appear in the version where i used my hosting

Ridiculously good conditions abounded today. Winning at the Casino.
I thought that Alpine went off completely yesterday with perfect snow for bell to bell straightlining, slarving, and logging a fair bit of air time. The number of fun natural hits right now is amazing. +1 for Patrol keeping it safe and getting terrain open for the shredding pleasure of many (few by the end of the day). The convective snow showers and little breeze in the late afternoon must have made today A+ as well. Thanks to convective instability and the Pacific for donating the goods.
JAH provide.
