I'm just getting into video. As I understand it GoPro has the best image quality for these type of POV cameras... I wonder how this Sony will stack up....

It looks and sounds like a cool camera, but the promo videos on the Sony site suck! Needs deinterlaced or something. Not very impressive and looks just like a GoPro. I have a feeling it might be better quality, but I'll need to see a better clip.

#1 - it doesn't shoot interlaced video.
#2 - it would be deinterlacING anyway.
#3 - video that needs to be deinterlaced looks NOTHING like that footage.

I think it's pretty fucking slick, and being able to go down to 190ft without a special housing is rad.

I also like the form factor much more than the goPro.
