    Question IFSA Snowbird '05 Qualifiers?

I saw most of the quals this afternoon. Some serious throwing down & some carnage to cause some bruised egos. Unfortunately I showed up after BB's run.

Can't find it on the 'net -- maybe someone here has seen the running list for tomorrow's semis on Silver Fox?

wow..I forgot this was going on this now. C'mon no more info than that 13? Who carnaged? Who killed it? Did BB wear his pink helmet?

Sorry, can't help you too much, Shoe. I was there, but I wasn't all there, if you catch my drift.

I'm pretty sure Rainbow Brite's run was before I showed up, so the first run I saw was one Joey Smallwood. He rode it clean and stomped a decent-sized cliff into a small choke. For a Smallwood, he's got big testes.

I'm sure there was a maggot or two there who'll be able to report with better memory of bib numbers & names. I think Julien Carr laid down a nice run?

most of the guys i ride with did well. i don't know where the cutoff is but i'll be looking tonight.

splat, jake didn't make it in the comp so captain insane-o is on his set. he put down a solid line today. eon blew up on a traverse after sticking a big huck. he may still make it in. the conditions weren't great but those guys made the best of it.

i'll post what i find out later.

edit: julian did well but was rather conservative for his usual riding style.

#2 did! #1 doesn't do comps, #3 is race-coaching because he likes tight pants and #4 is back in Sydney after scoring the 2 week Tahoe dump.

Splat- it's Jon. He was in the Red comp but ate shit on his first turn when he hit a tree. He was so pissed that he hucked eveything in sight on the run, maxed out the aggressiveness score, but missed the cutoff by a couple spots.

drew. i don't know his last name but he was just after walker who was the second guy after parker (#28). i didn't pick up the program today. the skiing on silver fox and upper cirque was too good to sit all day and watch the comp.

drew loved the skis. i think if he gets to the finals and we have some snow you'll see some real hucking. this guy has no quams about going big. hense the name. he's still pretty young and not broken yet.

    Hey APD -

Where at the bird did they hold the quals? I thought I recalled them being on Silver Fox last year...

ah, thanks. finals on north baldy i presume? i'm gonna get out tomorrow, but probably just the morning and thus will be unable to catch most of the runs I'd guess.

you'll get to see the women's event. i'd wait at the arch for those hotties to come by. most were ripping skiers also. the women were finished by 10:15 today.

Joey Smallwood is a New Mexico loc!
What a hilarious guy whos always had big conjones or maybe just a really stupid mind. I'll always remember seeing this kid try to throw a three off a little catwalk while I was riding the quad at Santa Fe. Got about 3 quarters of the way around going mach loonie, ate shit, concussed, foaming at the mouth, and spazzing out, that fall only made him try more ridiculous things.
    Hopefully he does well.
