    Binding Question

After a mere 5 ft drop I shattered the plastic lever that initiates touring mode on my Fritschi Freerides, and was surprised to drop into a tele turn while slowing down before some moguls. It didn't look fixable so I didn't even bother to find the broken piece. I do however have another slightly newer pair, but same size, of Freerides mounted on my powder skis. My question is would I be able to switch one binding back and forth between skis? Are there any significant differences between the white and black Freerides? Would frequent mounting and demounting compromise the integrity of the ski? Thank you in advance for any input.

Black Diamond sells replacement release levers. They're surprisingly expensive.

The BD replacements are rather expensive, I would rather buy newer stronger bindings. Just sent an email to Diamar asking about warranty, but that is doubtful. Does any kind soul who has a heel piece laying around feel like helping a brother out?
