Targhee has some BIG news for summer trails.

Regardless of what you think about the 'early ups' program (i think it's lame), I do know what they are spending money on, and it's awesome. It's called summer. The festivals are getting better, and more importantly to me, there is now a full on, active mt. Bike scene going on, (whereas it was kind of an after-thought for a decade, regardless of my continuous needling over the years!).
The great news is that one of the cheif architects of the Teton Pass trails has been hired to design a DH 'flow' trail. Expect big berms, doubles, structures (it is on private land) and other super duper fun things. I also have a map of the proposed Super-D course, it looks awesome. (i will post it when I can convert it).
    So there.

Look forward to Teton Valley(s) trips to be mandatory visits to the Village, The Pass, and Grand Targhee. Call it a trifecta.

    It's good.

With a few trips down that way this summer, this is good news. The more options, the better!

Thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to seeing the trail maps and such.
