I've been checking mine every ride, and they are staying in place without shifting. I've been using hash marks to gauge if it is rotating, and it is not. That hardware has alot of surface area clamping down on it. Other users I've checked with report the same thing.

These are pictures of my actual bushings. Mine are alu because that's what we had around at the time. There is one sleeve. The lower one is a step (one piece) to ensure adequate clamping area.

I would think they could be slotted/notched on the OD and ID of the interfaces to help eliminate rotation...

(incidentally, when I was searching for that image, this popped up on google image search despite me having safe search on moderate, not posted here because I'd still call it NSFW)

They really do stay put. make sure your shock hardware is tight and put a mark on it and your frame with felt pen, then go out and shred. I watch mine and no movement.

Do you mean 4mm of offset here, or am I not understanding?

If your frame utilizes 8mm shock bolts, you can have a maximum of 2mm of offset per reducer, yielding 4mm total of suspension offset. However, I usually spec 1.5mm of offset per bushing, which on my 160mm frame dropped the BB about 1/4 inch.
