it used to be so complicated, with ball of foot, center of boot, pin line, etc.
For years most of us mounted further forward, splitting the diff between ball of foot and boot center, figuring that helped pressure the rear ski when the rear heel was lifted.
Lately, everything is just centered like an alpine boot and it still works good.
dont overthink it. Either just split the boot in half, or use the suggested pin line deduction. 1.5 cm to pin line from end of boot seems like a lot, but it could be right. Maybe its only 1cm.
Even if you did 2cm, that just moves you forward a bit more, which aint bad on tele. We all used to move forward.
Another idea is to download a template for your binding. That will show pinline and boot center for your BSL
