Voile Switchback and 7tm PowerTour mounting hole pattern

Just wondering if anyone knows if the 7tm power tour and the Voile switchback have the same hole pattern. Looking at the two patterns on screen it's too close to call.

    Different.

Much about 7tm mounting is annoying. to have a nearly identical pattern to the majority of bindings is just goofy.

Yeah, that is what I was afraid of. So obnoxious that they couldn't just put the damn holes in the same place as everyone else.

You can get a 7tm adapter plate/riser that will use the same holes as a Switchback. (It's called the K2 adapter plate ).

With that you can use inserts and switch between 7tm and Switchback pretty easily.

So the bindings then just mount to that riser plate and the whole binding + riser mounts to the ski?

You have to put the plate on first and then screw the binding to the plate, since the standard pattern is covered by the binding. It's important to make sure you're getting the G3/K2 riser as they make another version of the riser which just uses longer screws and the same 7tm holes.
