Help with change of AT boot from Scarpa Typhoon

Have skied a Scarpa Typhoon for the last 3-4 seasons (mainly downhill and lift-assisted touring, plus the odd longer tour but never multi-day). Happy with the boot, not so happy with the fit - I get cramps in the forefoot in the morning despite skiing with both forefoot buckles open, and I needed three layers of foam before the heel was snug enough. (so I guess I have a relatively big forefoot and narrow heel). Since the liner got smelly and I want the Dynafit option, I'd like to change to something better-fitting.

Now in St Anton for a week, I went over to two shops to try boots. Both fitters just measured the length of my feet, no shell check. One suggested Garmont Radium in size 27 Mondo or Dynafit Zzero 4C in 26.5, and tried to talk me off Dynafits. The other gave me a breakfast buffet of boots: the same two as above plus Dynafit TLT 5, BD Factors and Quadrant, and Technica Cochise, all in 27 (the Cochise was weird, I wanted to like it but I was swimming in that size).

Hard to say from fit in the shop but from some research it looked like the Radium may be ok for me - at least it's high enough volume around the forefoot. But then other say that it's big around the heel...

    Any thoughts / recommendations?

(This is a family holiday so I have the time to test / go back etc)
You really need to stop knowing WTF you're talking about. (Tippster)

If you have a strange foot, then the foot must decide. If the radium is ok, go with it. Thezzzero imvho is a bit old as a design. Tlt5 is also a nice option for a narrow heel. I woul also try the maestrale.

I have used Zzeus/Titans for the past 4 seasons. But have skied Factors, Radiums, Maestrales, Quadrants, Cochises, all of which should be viable options for you since you want dynafit.

Wide forefoot in new Radium last might work, this is the Purple/Grey shell. All purple won't work well for you foot with the tapered conical toebox. I liked that boot (new one) but forefoot just a bit wider than I want.

I needed to size down the Tecnica boots to a 25 shell to fit my foot (usually a 26). High instep, a bit roomy for me, would need shims.

Maestrales very nice for me, i think would be too narrow in the forefoot for you if you liked the toe box width of Typhoons.

Factors and Quads have wider toebox narrower heel (102mm and 103mm respectively) but the Typhoon is wider than all these options, so you may be getting narrower regardless. Plus the liners are a lot of where the narrow heel feel come from. And the liners suck.

The new Dynafit Vulcan for next year could work. Very roomy toe box, narrow heel. Not a bad fit for the back half of my foot. But the front half had way too much room. The Mercury is the non carbon of this boot (I think) and won't be $1k.
