Thanks Bumper, you're right, softer in comparison. Felt like they'd be playful, but definitely not saying they have the flex of the Hellbent. Would like to demo for sure.

I'm loving the line-up. Expecially the wood top sheet option. Can't wait to try some Caylors and Billy Goats. I'm looking looking for a Resort Powder ski for PNW. I have read all the threads and reviews, I just wanted to give some props to ON3P.

Sorry about no rocker profile shots or weights yet..my stomach and soul hurt from partying, no sleep, a bad burger, and a sick kid at home.

    NOT a good combo.

so, any plans on giving some of the powder skis a higher-angled tip/ more splay? in my experience "low profile tips," or stealth rocker or whatever doesn't work so well over here in the rockies. i love the shapes of the caylor and the c+d (and for the most part, the rocker profiles), but i refuse to buy any more powder skis that dive in powder due to low angle tips. I also like when my tips ride up and over ice chunks and stumps, and not spear into them.

hopefully this doesn't come off too harsh, as far as i'm concerned on3p has some of the best looking designs out there right now. maybe i could go a little custom? that is, after i fix my jaw and pay some med bills.

Nice...me too, can't decide what more skis to bring...deciding between rocker2 115, Billy goat, protest and concept...the pillow fight are the only skis I'm sure to bring. Where are you headed??

I'm taking PF's plus Caylors with touring bindings... ideal would probably be Jeffreys or something in that range for me but quiver only has so many slots. We're hitting Myoko, Hakuba, and Hokkaido.

Well I have PF to be mounted with inserts. Concepts and protests also with inserts, BG with mfd and the option to try out rocker2 115 and 122 with guardian so I'll probably do that. In hakuba between 10/2 and 23/2. But enough OT from me, mostly looking forward to try the PF in their right element...

I think the ON3p crew might have gotten sick of me coming by and coveting next years carylor. There skis look better in person than on the internet. Great group of guys and I think that the Carylor will have to land in my quiver for next season.
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

You really, REALLY need to try the C&D...I would do that before assuming they ride like others, just saying.

The C&D does not spear anything unless you want it to, and the rocker profile and tip height are absolutely perfect for Rockies Snow...I know this because that is where I ski and tested these for months

With testing and experience, I found that the tips that are too high or have too much splay (ie BD Megawatt, Old Hellbent, Pontoon) actually serve to slow you down in powder. The concept behind Elliptical Rocker is to increase the way a ski planes, but also to keep the ability to move and jive so to speak at will.

The flex pattern, rocker/camber, and shape of the C&D is the combo of probably 7 to 10 different skis on the market where I felt there were strengths, with almost none of the weaknesses. I am THAT stoked on it.

Rowen may be able to give you guys the specs, I don't have the weights yet when compared to the stock versions...I can weigh my stock ones in 191 before I mount them if that would help.

I am pretty amazed at how light they are, actually...just keep in mind I ride Prophet 115's with all metal Looks as a daily driver, so my idea of light may be different than yours

Weight are posted on the ON3P website. Touring models are said to be ~1# lighter (IIRC) according to a post earlier in this thread.

Be interesting to get a confirmation of the weights. Gear companies' scales, like their tape measures, can be a bit off, IME.

Just keep in mind that many of the models have different widths, etc this year and the weights for this year's sticks may not be the same as the 2013 models.

Oops, missed that you have the 2013 model. Certainly not trying to call out ON3P. Still would be nice to get an idea what the weight of the touring BG will be. Probably not under 9#, but that'd be awesome.

When I talked to Scott just before the show, he said they are still tweaking and dialing in the Tour versions of the Billygoat and Vicik... and therefore he didn't know exactly what the weights would be. My initial impression was not featherlight but very reasonable.

FWIW, both my BG's and Vicik's are fairly "heavy", however, they feel light on my feet. I have read the same thing from other ON3P ski owners as well. I don't know what your goals are for the ski, but if you are wondering how heavy they feel when you ski, my experience is, it isn't a factor.
