A simple arthroscopic clean out but can't afford it till march season gone..girlfriend see you later going to rip the 11" at Vail today some years are like that
Watch out, the simple cleaning could lead to shorter knee life span. When I had my last one done I exited with only less than 10% cartilage left in one knee. The operation did relieve the pain I experience now and then, but it introduced a whole new menu of aches and pains over the years due to the reduced cartilage, and made me a candidate for knee replacement under 40 ! Had I known, I would have skipped the last surgery. Truth is, until they go in they have no idea how much cartilage you are going to loose. My advice, if you can deal with the discomfort now, don't do the surgery, however if it is unbearable, get yourself cleaned out.
Also, expect to rest 10-12 weeks post opp. I was once mislead to believe I'd be good to go after 3 to 4 days, what he meat was walking pain free, but activity such as skiing, required a full 10-12 weeks to be safe. I walked out of the OR prepped for surgery one February morning after I confirmed this with the doc. Best left for end of season if you can, or it will end your season.
Thanks, did my other knee 10 yrs ago and it's going great, I'll be conscious watching the procedure with a spinal and my doc is a huge skier advocate and will do the minimum
