It was as nice as ever to visit last week, things change but plenty still feels the same. I’m sure the old timers are used to the churn but it was surprising to see how many folks didn’t make it through the pandemic.

The boy saw Old Faithful for the first time. It is so exciting to live vicariously through his eyes.

Mushrooms were in abundance in Hyalite. Hedgehogs above the reservoir and chanterelles below.

Red Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip, from an outsider’s view the town is growing for the better. Prerogative is worth all the hype.

There is no better way to spend time than with old dogs and new babies.

I saw an article today that snowbowl can't open unless they fix their lifts.

The banff bear attack one was nightmare material as well.

There was also an attack in the North Fork Flathead area. Woman was attacked, her companion sprayed the bear and it ran away. Been a lot of them this year it seems.

I wasn't sure what to make of that Snowbowl article. Didn't seem like opening was really in doubt.

Sounds like progress! The nerve stuff seems to take a while ie quick movements and reaching overhead. You will probably end up stronger than you ever were before!!

It is no screaming deal like the Huntley for $99 or Teton view from the Tobacco Roots, but the Big Sky Operations crew did some clearing on the run out from Marlboro Country to Low Dog which was "vague" in the past.

Long overdue if ya asked me.

That photo is wild. Just curious was it taken through a camera lens or spotting scope?

Nice dude. I'm trying to get more comfortable shooting landscapes with a zoom lens. Often times it just creates a more interesting image.

I used to be into photography, not anymore. It’s my wife’s camera, she’s into wildlife stuff, more so when we lived in AK. So I just make her carry it and use it intermittently

Looks like 10 stop ND on your photos above I’m guessing?

If we ever cross paths IRL I owe ya a beverage. That photo makes a dandy desktop background.
