    NE Turkey Week Riding

My folks are on the Cape. I'll be at Otis everyday but tomorrow.

    Where are you riding?

Since I live within a mile of Big River in RI, that's where I'll be.

Just hope is doesn't rain too much tomorrow, unless it gives a fair amount of snow to the resorts.

I may be in Sprite's neighborhood on Friday and back to my regular spot for a sunrise ride on Sunday. I wanted to get out today but wet leaves sketch me out, I'll be over it in a day or two though

Torrential rains for two fucking days down here. Grandparents mean plenty of time to get out, but I don't own a boat. Supposed to stop tonight, so I'm planning on a very wet ride tomorrow.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

No longer turkey week, but Burlington Landlocked Forest was really fun today: perfect ribbon of gray through the leaves, a lot of mud ruts for sure, but not enough to affect flow (that is if there were any flow to my riding), and only my third ride on my SC Butcher, first one wherein she got muddy.

No pics, sorry. Here's two of friends at that spot from a couple of months ago:

I was in there yesterday with some friends. I led some of the GB Nemba rides there in the summer, its a fun small place, but sorta got sick of it. It was good to go back with some friends after a few months of not riding there. We found the mud, its on the north side as you go toward the other parking place.

Awesome. I've not been to Lynn in years! So much fun in there!

    Two from last night.

The idea was to have both feet in/on the pedals, but whatever.

If you make the trip up I would gladly give you a tour. I've ridden the place about 200 times in the past 4 years so I kind of know my way around...

A couple more pics from Saturday.

Nice bike man, I got one may of last year and its a blast to ride all over, Lynn especially. I live about a 10 minute drive from Lynn, but always end up going elsewhere for some reason. I think I've only picked the hottest days of the summer to ride there. I should probably do something about that!

I love that roller, much easier to ride than walk haha.

That's my friend. I am a glutton for punishment so I ride this:

Notice the dick, swastika, and 'fuck you'... Lynn is a city of class.

And you live within 10 minutes of Lynn and ride other places mostly?! Madness! Lynn is definitely the best around... well unless you're actually looking for something that has a hint of flow.

Yeah, I love it there, just get my ass kicked so often getting up things. I've got trails 1 mile away, so I end up there a lot or other places on my drive home from work.

I'm actually gonna be building up a hardtail this winter, what frame is that? Funny thing is, I'm going for a beater steel frame to ride the more "flowy," trails I'm on, but possibly SS to get my fatass in better shape.

Ragley Blue Pig. Last years model. I like it, but I don't have much experience with any other hardtails though so my opinion isn't worth much. It is tough though, I put it through a wicked beating so far and it's still in one piece.

Saldy enough I think this thread needs to be bumped... again.

Or maybe re-named NE Christmas Week Riding.

Anyone interested in a new years day, or monday ride 30 minutes west of boston? Happy to share 90-120 minutes of uninterrupted, leaf-blown, technical singletrack.

    Maybe... what time tomorrow?

And where exactly, if you don't mind? At least what general area?
