I'm a little skeptical. Certainly the ASP doesn't have the coin to be testing 44 surfers for performance enhancing drugs. Does anyone really give a fuck if you smoke a J after your heat? Is this just promoting a clean lifestyle? Will they test for alohol, also? I've never heard any rumors of pro surfers taking roids or pro hormones, but I know some recreational surfers that have ramped up their game that way. Especially in the big wave arena.
