Cops have found and shot 40 so far. Grizzlies, big cats etc..
Just when I thought i'd seen all the stupidity this country has to offer. I was in Zanesville once, i am not surprised.

Just heard on the news the guy let all the animals out of their cages and the killed himself.
I caught this on CNN this morning. I literally spit cheerios all over the office as Jack fucking Hanna was standing behind the sheriff giving the interview.
Jack Hanna to save the day!
Live Free or Die
Owners a douche....poor fucking animals.
Jack Hanna is a very cool dude, I've met him several times, he lives over in Bigfork a lot of the year. My thought was, how psyched was the local swat team when they got that call, "guys we've got lions and tigers and bears running wild across the corn fields and you guys need to go out and eliminate them all."
I say we start another thread on this, three is not enough.
My first thought was "This has to be in Florida", but Ohio wasn't far down my guess list..........
I'm sure the SWAT guys has massive hard-on's for a night of Tiger hunting....
That being said, it is a damn shame that so many cool animals had to die because some douche didn't take his happy pills.
Why ANYONE should be allowed to own these types of animals outside of a legitimate zoo is mind boggling. They're not fucking tabby cats.....
The word I've heard is that they had no non-lethal means of controlling the animals, (mostly tranquilizer darts I guess).
I mean just think if one of those tigers jumped the fence to a playground. I also heard that some of the animals were shot as they charge law enforcement personal. As much as it sucks, I don't think they had much choice.
Unfuckingbelievable that picture. What a bunch of asshats; dead guy included.
Anyone else picture a grinning DBT and Jer in that picture?
How many thousands of dogs die because of dipshit owners every year? Should dogs therefore be illegal?
People always want to "fix" the problem by making things illegal. The real problem is that some people are dipshits -- and if keeping tigers were illegal, they'd figure out some other way to be a dipshit.
Note that SWAT was apparently shooting giraffes and camels, in addition to the predators, because a RAMPAGING HERBIVOROUS GIRAFFE is a major threat to societySo we have a dipshit suicide -- and a bunch of dipshit gun freaks with massive hard-ons for a free African hunting safari, blasting away at captive animals that don't know enough to run away.
Fuck all of them.
That seriously hurts to see...
This world seriously sucks sometimes.

Are Tigers on some kind of endangered species list? Jack Hanna should be ashamed of himself.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Did you know that Zanesville is the birthplace of Zane Grey, who is a descendent of the towns founder, Ebenezer Zane?
But if you really want to read something interesting you should try this book, http://www.amazon.com/Animal-Underwo...9119810&sr=1-3. A real pick-me-up if you like animals.

^ Agreed, but just making them illegal altogether is another matter. I don't think every average joe should be able to keep tigers, but if someone knows what they're doing and has the right equipment/facilities, there should be a permit for that.
Clearly the number of animals of the kind he had is a bit over the top. As falconer of my experience level, I'm allowed to keep and fly 2 raptors. Hawks aren't generally dangerous to anyone, and I have to have state and federal permits which include facilities and equipment inspections as well as a mentorship period with a master falconer for two years. All that to keep and hunt with a couple hawks that aren't dangerous to anyone, yet from what I can tell, just about any idiot can get his hands on a tiger or 20. Something is out of place.
