We set out hoping to summit Baker but sustained 50 mph winds and uncertain weather turned us around 1500 ft short of the summit. A storm earlier in the week reset the corn cycle making for excellent September turns.

Awesome! I can only imagine how good that would be with 6" of new snow, then again perhaps its best to be able to see the crevasses...
