try pulling into 16" of fresh at alta and start skinning with no one around. not gonna happen, ever. you'll get bombed out or the road won't be open, or........... . twas a truly amazing 4 days spent skiing t-line, whitegrass, all of the bc in between, and even the quite exotic (to me) 1500+ powerline shot, and big mama.
the bigger hills away from the resorts are an AT skiers paradise. best part, you'll hardly see anyone else. kinda like much of the bc in the northeast, amen.

^^^^ hell yes and it's all about timing it around the storms. I just put inserts and barons on a pair of nomads, come november I will be constantly watching Davis, WV forecasts on NOAA
