I know there's a lot of threads about disc problems but I wanted to ask about something very specific. When I injured myself I was lifting something heavy, as soon as it happened I stood up and my legs, then my arms, then my ears all went numb. (When my ears when numb it felt like someone was cupping their hands over them.)

I had a glass of water and the numbness immediately all went away, never to return. When I told the doctor he said he had never heard of that, and I can't seem to find any info on numbness like that being normal when you slip a disc.

I'm in the process of finding a new doc because this really sucks, but has anyone ever heard of numbness like that?
