I'm hoping to get my boy on the snow this winter.
It looks like kid's boots start at about size 8K (for example, the Salomon T1)
Are there any boots available in smaller sizes than this?
Thanks, Mike

In Mondo point, the smallest I have seen is 12.5. I believe it is a little Nordica.
"He thinks the carpet pissers did this?"
I bought my 2.5 year old the Nordica Nordy last week. I believe it is the smallest on the market. It is also very light when compared to other boots close to it's size.
not anywhere near that small, but fulltilt does an adjustable kids boot, $150ish retail, full intuition, and spans 3-4 sizes.
we sold a few at the store and looks great.

I got some boots for my 2yo a few weeks ago in a mondo 15 (like a kids 8). He loves wearing them around the house.

same as adult, go as small as you can, until the customer says "too tight"
odds are this will be a bigger boot then they need/want, but making sure they are happy is #1.
(I'm NOT a parent, just a boot fitter/gear geek, parents may have a better view of kids and sizing)
I got these for my just turned 3 daughter last winter:

they are actually pretty fricken slick and well worth the price especailly considering you should get multiple seasons out of them.
^^ I've seen these boots come through my shop (for binding adjustments, not boot repairs) and can confirm that they seem to be well-made.
They seem like a very good option for rapidly growing feet. Good hand-me-downs, too.
