Pretty much. Props to the Jets for playing an ENTIRE FUCKING GAME unlike the Cowboys who seem to have forgotten that a football game is a full 60 minutes.

at least the rangers regained their 2.5 game lead today. have to take solace in something.

either the texans are really good, or the colts are really bad.

my guess is the latter. nothing to worry about this year patty-cakes see you next year.

How about the Ravens and Steelers? Didn't see that one coming.

Cowgirls need to either tank the season & draft Andrew Luck or send 2 1st round picks to the Patriots for Ryan Mallet. They're never ever going to win anything with Tony Homo as the starting QB.

Romo was doing fine until his WRs ran out of gas.

He completely came unglued in the 4th quarter. The INT he threw was 100% his fault. The receiver was double covered & he threw it right to Revis. The goal line fumble was quintessential Homo. The guy always turtles in the most important part of the game.

Romo is a physically gifted athlete, and has the brain for the first three quarters... then.. not so much

    BEAR DOWN
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

Until Jerry relinquishes his cherished GM title the Cowboys will continue to be nothing more than a mediocre team. The only successful times under his tenure came when he was not in control of the personnel decisions. Jimmy Johnson built those Super Bowl winning teams in the '90s and then left when Jerry wouldn't give him credit for his work. In the '00s Bill Parcells did the same thing. There is no way Austin, Romo (I'm not saying he is an elite qb here, but he is a good NFL starter for the most part), Ware, or a handful of other players are on the team if Parcells wasn't around.

I think Dez ran the wrong route on that play. Even so, Tony should have never thrown the ball there. Bryant was gimpy and playing at 50% and he was double covered. There has to be more situational awareness there.

Can't forget about the blocked punt either. That was a huge special teams gaffe and was a pivotal moment. Win as a team lose as a team I guess.

Yeah I don't get the whole Tony Romo is an "elite" QB talk. I wouldn't put him in the top 10. The way Michaels & Collinsworth were ballwashing him last night you'd think he was the second coming of Roger Staubach. He's won one lousy playoff game in 5 seasons (I won't count last year). Shit, even Danny White managed to win more then that.

OK. Maybe I put him at 9.

    Brady
    Peyton
    Brees
    Rapistberger
    Rodgers
    Rivers
    Flacco
    Vick
    Homo
    Schaub

Still doesn't mean I think he's elite. Just that the league is full of mediocre QBs right now.

The new kickoff rule will reward good returners and teams who are willing to take a chance with those guys. I don't like it but that's just because here in the Mile High city we'll never see a kick return unless someone shanks it or tries some directional kicking.

If they get a chance. The 'Skins' kicker had most of his kicks go out of the endzone. His worst kicks were still 2 yds deep.

Whoever thought this would be a good rule change is a fucking retard. Did you hear they actually expect a 65% return average? This weekend it was somewhere in the 45% range.

I believe it's under the auspices of "player safety" but they don't say a damn thing about dread locks that clearly affect the fit of the helmets or any one of a number of things that would actually increase safety.

You don't have to preach to me like I said Denver will have 0% return average if Prater decides he wants to. I'd expect Janikowski to be booting them into about the 20th row tonight.

Wasn't preaching. Pretty sure we agree. You don't wanna get railed take a knee. It's called a "return" for a reason, not a "Kick Reception."

    Now back to current football:

    1. Tom Brady is a Robot that will eat your face.
    2. Chad Henne may be the best thing to have happened to the Fins since Shula left - fun to watch two ex-Wolverines play against each other
    3. Reggie Bush seems to finally remember how to play football
    4. Rooting for the Patriots is like rooting for the Yankees. Yep - I went there.

99 yard TD reception from Welker. Fins had it close at the half and for a while in the 3rd, but it's been ugly since then. Fuck ya Pats!

What did Jon Gruden say that he felt the need to apologize on-air for? Something 'inappropriate while Chad Henne was throwing"

Shit it is. I missed it when it happened, I tend to zone out during the between the play stuff anyway.
