bluehouse skis
Can anyone tell me why bluehouse is able to sell their skis for such low prices? I've seen other independent ski companies in the five hundred range but their well below that

They use a special magnetic core that keeps costs down. Magical magnets.

Magnets are a one-way vortex from heaven. That is why you can put one on your wrist and suddenly feel so perfect. Just don't wear that thing backwards!
Oh, and Bluehouse leaves out the expensive parts.

I do know wasatch ski bums have more soul per person than an entire factoy of chinese workers.
I like soul in my skis

Hahahahahaha. The irony is killing me. Hahahahahah.
Ive got Shoots and Mavens and my brother has Mavens and they have been great.
Yeah they are made in China(with some production moving to SLC) but there are other companies that manufacture there that charge twice the price.
My best answer to your question is your not paying for dealer markups, not paying for reps to push to said dealers, and not paying athlete salaries.
There have been a couple quality issues along the way(which they have fixed), and they are definetly not sailing that boat alone, but if you do have a problem you will have an easier time dealing with it because their cust. service is top notch.

All this stimulating debate aside, Maestro's fucking rock.

It's very simple, they make (or at least made) skis in China, which is nothing unusual, but instead of charging $700+ or almost twice that if you're dps and you're so core because you just figured out carbon fiber, they pass the savings on to you. Which is awesome. None of there shapes really did it for me, since I like a smaller turning radius, but I think the company is awesome for doing that (and my Rubies were a gift(and made in the usa)(damn, Dragons Breath is strong))

Cheap and heavy, but they ride alright. Thing is one of my shoots is about 3 mm wider than the other. I like them because I don't feel bad when I hit rocks
