FS: Devinci Frantik 7" frame, RP23 combo

07 Devinci Frantik frame. Size medium. $250 shipped! C'mon, that's a steel for a decently useable frame, and worth the shock alone.

It's just a bit larger than I prefer, so am selling to look for something a better fit for me. A couple years of hitting the lifts, gently. Some scrapes and scratches, but otherwise in great shape. A nicely done up sealed bearing pivot Horst link frame. Rides nicely, sucks up big and little, and likes to go mach retarded. Will get some current pics up in the next day or two if wanted.

Link to geometry, based around a 7" single crown fork: http://www.pinkbike.com/product/devinci/Frantik-2/

1.5 headtube, 83mm bottom bracket, 12 x 150mm rear end, axle included. 180mm rear travel, also comes with a different link that drops travel to 165mm without altering the geometry. 8.5 x 2.5 rear shock, will come with a Fox RP23, not the Roco shown in the pics. 31.9mm seatpost, 34.9mm clamp/front derailleur if you want to run one. ISCG-old removable chain-guide tabs - the upper most tab is stripped - I've just used a nut on the backside to capture the bolt.

FRAME ONLY. Not all the bits shown in the pic, just the frame, but with: rear shock and hardware, seat clamp, rear axle included. Two spare drive side dropout/hanger bits as well. I can throw in a Truvativ Boxguide (tank-like heavy, but works) if wanted.

    Bump.

Karma bike base frame perhaps? It's got a lot of life left.

It may have a taker locally, but if not, Id rather have it go to something like that than e-bay, etc.

Just bought a Devinci Dixon, 145mm travel and the frame is super nice.

Devinci is a solid company, I had really good experiences talking with the dudes up there.

Maybe - I may have a local buyer. If that doesn't work out, i can bring it to wherever we meet up. Warning; it's painful, pedaling this thing around on most of our trails. Need lifts, or long climb/long chunky and steep descents.

    Bump.

FSA Gap something or other crankset/BB for this frame, and throw it in with the deal. The ones in the pic above.

Also have a set of Works Components -/+ 1* cups in there at the moment, slackening things by a degree. Can include them, or pull them and sell on their own. $75

Hope ProII 12x150 black rear hub laced to a Mavic 321, 15ga straight spokes, green alu nips. Was running ghetto tubeless, is now bare. Little use. Some scratches and little dings, but nice and straight. $175 A bit of goop left for free.

Frame is stripped, will get some pics of things up tomorrow. Have had a couple PMs about it, but no firm sale yet.

Still 4 sale? Friend of mine (she's 5' 8" and typically rides a Med) is in the market for a 7 inch freeridey frame...did you try this thing with a 66 degree HA rather than the stock 65? I gather from the nsmb review that this thing climbs like pig w/ the stock HA.

p.s. she can't afford much bike at all, so I figured I'd try to score her a budget frame & then use some of my old parts / scavenge around a bit to try to build something up for her.

    karma bike.

Fro: I'd steer her towards something else, unless she is sure on the size for her- check the geo chart. I'm a half inch taller than her, and the bike felt way, way too long and cumbersome. A 160mm fork might not be bad on it -lower the bb and drop the ha to 66, but it's still gonna' be a pig. If she is sure on the size though, it's a steal of a deal, and I can swing a deal for picking up the rear wheel and any of the other stuff as well. Also have a set of Juicy5 brakes that can go with.
    203f/185r.

Nope, I actually rode it as my resort bike with Works Component -1* headset cups for roughly 64* up front. 7" front and rear.

FWIW- just replaced the frame with a 2011 Reign-X frame, and just swapped most of the parts. Holy crap. Out pedals the Frantik by miles. 66* with my Domain, right on 14" at the BB height. Going to stick another set of angled cups in there to get to 65 up front. Not the bike for most of my trails, but a rig to hit bigger areas, and still be able to go to the lifts and have a good time.

Frame/shock. Two spare drive-side dropouts, the 6.5" linkage (it has the 7" installed - same geometry) Works Components headset that takes it to a 64* head angle - (with crown race and upper split compression ring, but you'll need your own top-cap/bolt/star nut) Rear axle and black Salsa seat clamp with. 31.6mm post size, 34.9mm if you wanted to run a front mech. 12x150 rear. Shock is near new. Pivots and hardware in great shape. The couple worst scratches and dings shown below. $300 shipped.

Avid Juicy 5 brakes 203mm F/R, a couple years old, but work quite well. Were on the Devinci - lines are decently long - should work on most stuff unless you've either got a huuuuge ass frame, or whacky hose routing. Everything you need to get them going. $85 shipped

Hope ProII rear hub/Mavic EN321 rim. 32 hole, 15ga spokes laced three-cross, green alu nipples. Little mileage. Some scratches and dings, but rolls nice and straight. Leftover latex goop free of charge. $200 shipped.

FSA Gap cranks, 83mm bb setup, 170mm long. Steel pedal inserts. 22/32 Shimano rings, and some ring bolts included. Gotta' get your own bash-ring though. $60 shipped.

Crank Bros. Opium SL headset, for standard 1-1/8" frame. New in box. $50 shipped.

Kore flat bar. Details in the pic. No longer in the box, but has never been in a stem. $25 shipped.

Price police, let me know if I'm way out of line here.
