Jackson Mags: Camping in the area?

The title pretty much sums it up.

Due to the stoke and built out park at JHMR, a fellow Bozeman mag are making the trip down in a few weeks for some pass shuttling, lift-serve and trail riding.

So while trail reports and where-to-ride info abounds, the beta on camping does not. From a few searches, I was able to find that Mosquito Creek might offer some good options. Jenny Lake in GT Park might also work.

What else would you recommend for some primitive camping? Access by 4wd is certainly an option. We will packing in/out all of our stuff and prefer to avoid the whole paved camping spots. Relative proximity to JHMR and/or the pass is preferred, but not required.

    Gracias.

Gorgeous views, but a bit of isolation: Shadow Mountain and Curtis Campground (Shadow has a singletrack dh that is a lot of fun; Curtis: drive beyond designated "campground" area for choose your own zone, no good trails to ride but cool area)

Closer to Teton Pass: Mosquito Creek (south of Wilson off Fall Creek Rd) and Mike Harris CG (between Victor and base of Teton Pass).

http://jacksonholecampground.com/ if you lack creativity and desire the company of RVs.

SJ, I appreciate the beta. We are definitely trying to avoid the RVs and the doughey Middle America campers. No worries on nothing nearby to ride. Camping deep in the woods is all part of it, so being remote is no issue.
