So you use Craig'slist to sell it since everyone knows about it yet you don't think the person you stole it from knows it exits. I guess when you're this stupid you have to steal shit to make money.

c'mon man. you've been here long enough to be in on the joke.

FWIW, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A MASTER/SKELETON KEY FOR THULE OR YAKIMA RACKS. IT DOESN'T EXIST.

just re-mounted my thule bars and bike racks in the parking lot in front of the police station. Jackass who stole my shit and then posted in up on craigslist also was found to have a motor in his vehicle that did not belong to him. Thank you Salem PD.

I've never heard of a skeleton key for racks, but it is true that if you work in a shop you can easily have 1 key for every yakima lock. Alternatively, you could go out and buy one of each number lock and you would have a key to every lock.

edit: happy to hear OP got his shit back, people who steal are assholes and I'm glad he got caught.

Good to hear you got it back. Pity the Arlington Police aren't a bit better. Now, I'm paranoid about my car at Logan - worried someone helped themselves to my rack while it sits in the parking lot. They'll have fun trying to straighten one of the bars that I "modified" with a little stupid driving....

Luis D. Suarez, 21, of 22 Prince St., Salem, was arrested at 2:13 p.m. at the vicinity of Dow and Prince streets in what police hope is the end of a recent reign of roof rack terror, with three Thule roof racks claimed at $1,000 apiece stolen from a succession of cars. Police had obtained a possible description of the thief from one of the victims and then discovered one of the racks on a car with New Hampshire plates registered to Abigail Gonzalez. It was a car that Suarez was known to drive, according to police. Police staked out the car and arrested Suarez when he arrived and got in. Gonzalez will be summonsed on the same charge.

The person under arrest thought it would be fine to post my shit up for sale on craigslist....in the town it was stolen in. I suspect they got him for theft as well as selling stolen good to a detective.

Thank you all for the offers on parts and stuff. Please come to Salem and have free beers. I am available from 0600-1700++ Monday through Friday.

I need a new FKNA sticker as the one I had placed on the foil a few years ago was removed by the thief.
