I hope to be there, but not sure due to a foot infection I can't put on a shoe let alone a boot.

Down on the coast for a couple days this week and then hopefully over there for a couple of days this weekend- everyone's right, CA just blows.
But I'll be a fair weather parking lot sports fan since I can't ski. There's a chance I may catch a ride with telemike, but he'll probably make me ride in the back with his ski clothing.

To be truthful, it's only his socks that really scare me, once I saw a pair kill and eat a chipmunk in less then 30 sec.

I'll be camping somewhere in the Inyo Friday thru Monday and I'll be at the resort to ski on Sunday. Got to mount up my longish boards.

Alas, I made my only Mammy trip of the season last weekend.

Gonna stay Tahoe bound this weekend, hiking/skiing around Donner Pass and then at Alpine Meadows and Squaw.

Just read Chair 23 is open for Sat/Sun

Unfortunately I have to work on the 5th or else I would head up. Driving home on 7/3 or 7/4 doesn't sound fun.

Looks like I will make it. Wearing boots hurts, but seems manageable, and hopefully even better by Sunday. Will likely arrive Sat. evening for skiing Sunday-Monday.

I wish I could return this year, but you can't always do everything you want in life (I would need a bigger bank account).

Finally finished the TR from last year's closing weekend. Thanks again for your hospitality California maggots.

    Have fun this weekend...

Word from the Mammoth web site is 23 on Sat and Sun, no mention of Monday, which is good. After skiing out the suncups over the weekend Monday should be good with just a little hike.

Good times considering we were skiing 70+ degree snow (or more accurately, slush.) Still good times, and the snowball fight and beers on top were as good as always. Pics to follow.
