I'm on a huge Lefthand Milk Stout kick right now. That shit is delicious. But I guess old reliable, go-to would have to be Dale's.

Clear Creek.....
Nectar of the Gods!
A review from this cool web site...
"Another powerhouse beer from Wisconsin. I feel I have been spoiling myself with the generaly good beers I have reviewed. I decided to change it up and review a popular seller, based solely on cost and alcohol content...how bad could this be?
A: The head comes like a raging hurricane hitting the coast, leaving almost nothing it its path. When the storm finally subsides, there is a small amount of clear liquid puddle. It is a strange pale yellowish, perhaps from the farm land swept along the way.
S: Corn-Metal stale'ness. Smells like the beer left over from a college frat party. The remains of beer pong the night before. Maybe Clear creek ice is a mutation from Keystone Light, after it sits long enough, it transforms.
T: Sweet corn taste, high fructose syrup in some capacity. Similar metallic taste which I smelled before.
M/D: Very Light, high carbonation. If anything postive can be said about this beer, mouthfeel isn't great but ok, at least until you swallow it.
After all is said and done, it's exactly what I expected. It has the bare minimum in every category to make it drinkable. Add to it the fact the it is only 50 cents a can and 6.2% abv, and you have a popular beer. If those were the criteria, it would be on BA's Top 100 list.
Serving type: can

Pacifico (when its really hot). Bell's Pale or Upland's IPA (when its not really hot).
Budget beer: Coors Light
Otherwise something like St. Bernardus 12
Old Mil or Pil when I'm poor. Grasshopper or Dead Frog when I'm less poor.
Life is simple. Go Explore.
Genesee > Yuengling > Hoegardden during the summer heat and humid.
Automatic go-to is Summit Pale Ale right now, surly furious is a close second with good ol' Budweiser bringing up the rear in the budget slot. I'm in Minneapolis right now and Surly is killing it, definitely a quality operation with big things on the horizon.
Miller High Life in the baseball bat bottle, or Miller Lite, can be found in the fridge more times than not. Hoegaarden and Sam Adams make it in on a regular basis as well.
Northern Lights Amber Ale
New Belgium 1554
Old mil when I'm poor, or bud 8 packs when they're on special for the price of 6.
Otherwise Labatt Blue is an old standard.

for a girl looking to cut calories I picked a winner: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. But I'm liking double bag too. Thank God I'm back to the rigors of the gym Monday!
Sprite

At 175 calories per 12 oz. beer, I'm not sure Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is doing you any favors. At least it's not Bigfoot?
Summer: Stone Levitation, Founder's Centennial IPA
Fall: Founder's Dirty Bastard, Short's Hangin' Frank IPA
Winter: Kuhnhenn Fourth Dementia (when I feel like 1 and done, at roughly 14% ABV), Founder's Breakfast Stout, Victory Storm King Imperial Stout
Spring: HOPSLAM

SNPA or Torpedo for my best-bang-for-buck...

Pacifico, ever since a winter spent in Baja long ago:

Anytime I read all of you talking about SN being cheaper than all the other "micros", I feel like my area (Syracuse/Ithaca NY area) is getting the shaft. Around here SN is right on par price wise with comparable brewers (Long Trail, Dogfishhead, Ithaca, Victory, Souther Tier, etc).
The only brewery thats slightly cheaper is Saranac, whose beer I find to be completely underwhelming. Except for their pumpkin ale, that shit is the nectar of the gods, if they brewed that year round, it would be my daily driver.
Everybody needs a plan B

On a quick mission to the local cold beer and wine outlet I usually grab a sack of Lucky or Keiths IPA.
Otherwise from the liquor store it's usually Holsten Maibock in the winter and Festbock in the summer. In a deeply chilled stein of course.
