I probably need to try a good hefe again sometime. Wheat beers are a style I've never had much use for.

It’s gotta be a German wheat beer. American style ones are boring. The yeast they use for German hefeweissebier produces flavor compounds found in bananas and cloves, so much more interesting.

That's the thing: a beer that tastes like bananas and cloves just doesn't sound very appealing. But I should try one again just to confirm I still don't like them.

Well then… I guess you could try a boring American style wheat beer.

Pretty sure I have a few signed pieces of memorabilia from Holik during his time on the Devils.

Ha, it gets better, he lives about a mile from you. Roughly 2 miles from Mr.Ford and Heather Thomas' homes.
He was super cool too. I think he brought the Stanley cup to the local hockey teams fundraiser or something like that. Won it twice, iirc.

I heard he might be leaving the valley; I know he has a place in Ocala for the wife's ponies in winter.

Nah, those suck too. On the other hand I tend to like rye beers, but they are a bit more difficult to come by. I like the flavor the rye imparts.

While not my go-to beer when in Utah, this is what I drink in Yurp.
Fresh bier from Bamberg, Germany. It just doesn't get any better.
