mounting brake on px14 lifter bindings

so i have some bros with dynastar px14's - originally mounted without lifter plates. yesterday i remounted in same holes (along with some goop) with the lifter plates added....along with the longer screws i was provided. i remounted the heels but having a tough time attaching the brake back on. hopefully an easy solution and hopefully i should not have installed the brake before i mounted the heels back in place.....though i gave it a shot and didn't have much luck either.
    thanks in advance.

Just move the heel unit all the way back on it's track by lifting the little metal tab on the rear and pushing it backwards. The screw that holds the brake in place is easily accessible now and you can slide on the brakes without much angling. Reposition the heel unit properly, done!

How can you mount the brakes before the binding ? The break covers the front two screws. Are you making sure you put the brake in properly ? There is a little tab the slips into the heel first and the the front pushes down where the screw goes in.
Took me like 10 minutes to figure out how to change this shit

3 holes in the brakes, center one only attaches brake to binding. i mounted heel of binding, then tried to attach brake....having a tough time slipping it into the tab you're mentioning. tried doing everything at once but had a tough time attaching brake still, so i just mounted heel first. figured people change brakes all the time - just pop the screw out and switch them out (didn't think they re-mount the heel everytime they switch out brakes)..............thought it would be the same deal if i just mounted heels and then screw in the brake.

Without actually seeing the binding I can only speculate but if it really won't work, maybe said tab is bent or the two front mounting screws on the heel piece are not flush.

IIRC, it's 2 hooked tabs. The brake must be attached before the heal piece is mounted, and you may have to slide it all the way back.
I'm pretty sure something clicks, and can't unclick when mounted to the ski and that's what holds the brake in as well as the front 2 screws of the heal holding the hooked tabs (maybe, maybe not, for the last part).
Been a while for me, though.
    No longer stuck.

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the heel. <-- is it "heal" or "heel"?

I just went and took off my brake to make sure I knew what I was doing. To put it back on I just put it a slight bit in front of the tabs and pushed it back. Went right into place. Make sure the tabs aren't bent. Check out the below and go to page 17
