Kurt kinetic fluid trainer
My wife is about 1.5 weeks out of surgery with a new ACL from a hamstring graft. I want to get her a bike trainer, but I do not want to spend money on junk. She almost has full rotation at PT now. It seems like the Kurt fluid trainer has a good reputation and should last a while. Any input from anyone with a trainer? I'd go with a magnetic trainer, but I am not interested in wind resistance models. Thanks

The kurt is a good model and will suit her needs. Everyone will have opinions on which they like best.

Its my favorite. I've owned cheap Performance ones, a CycleOps Fluid2 and now the Kurt Kinetic. It gives a nice feel on the trainer. I would highly recommend buying a trainer specific tire, lasts longer and makes the noise much more tolerable.
I like fluid trainers so much more than magnetic, but that is just a preference.

I have one...it has a great feel., much better than the magnetic one I have that is now being used by Mrs. Bimble. I think you'll be pleased.

Thanks for the input. I think I will put in an order for one.
