________ Resort Will Open Friday, Nov. 14

Snowbird To Open Early After Heavy Early-Season Snowfall
Resort Will Open Friday, Nov. 14, with Several Lifts
Snowbird, Utah - Following the second wettest Nov. 1-6 in resort history, Snowbird announced today it will open for the 2003-04 season on Friday, Nov. 14, with two chairlifts and a reduced ticket price.

The Gadzoom and Mid-Gad lifts will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14. Additional snowfall and cold temperatures could allow Snowbird to open the Tram but a decision will not be made until after this weekend's storms.

Nearly five feet of snow (55 inches) has fallen at the Little Cottonwood Canyon resort since Oct. 30.

I'll be saving all my changed nickels for Alta's opening day.

Although I'm sure Snowbird won't be crowded....

me too. I was up there today and the Bird needs more snow to open anything worthwhile.

actually, did you see all the turns down mid-cirque, there is enough snow there, but the mountain as a whole, yes, needs more, although Gadzoom is all they'll open, that sucks anyway, but, nonetheless, I'm there.
