I recently picked up a pair of the legendary Volkl Explosiv Wizards, but a single day of skiing these super-stiff crudbusters tells me that I'm not man enough for them, and I'm hoping somebody else can offer them a better home... and can offer me a softer ski.

Though they are '03-04 models, their style came to define big-mountain powder skis for years: "fat" for the time with 95mm waists, minimal sidecut, early tip rise, slight twin tip, head-turning graphics, and the secret weapon: a full magnesium top sheet which made these skis legendary for their power in every terrain. Give them all you've got, and they will give even more back. Coming from tele skiing, my legs just can't give enough.

Would trade for a lighter, softer ski with a 95-105mm waist and similar design: K2 Coomba(ck), BD Kilowatt or Verdict, G3 Saint/Reverend or Zenoxide/El Hombre, Karhu Jak, or similar.

Dimensions: 120-95-112; 180cm long
Bases: Good condition; professionally filled and repaired after every scratch. The previous owner loved these babies.
Topsheet: Good condition; minor scratching which comes with age. Drilled twice, both fairly far back and for small boots (boot toe at ski center, size 7M boots)

If you have a pair of dynafits on your planks, I can sweeten the deal with some Fritschi Freeride Plus's. Would also consider good cash offers.
