Another two days in the Duffey

    Chief Pascall - day 1

Two laps off the N faces on the ridgeline then out past Equinox. On the ridgeline just below the ridge got a CTE 10 at 40cms sudden planar! But it was on the steepest part of the ridge as it rolled and on the shallow part of the snowpack (total HS 240cms which is fat for this time of the year at ridgeline.

The snowpack was a lot fatter further downslope and it skied wonderfully - 40cms of light fluff on top of supportive basal layer

It was supposed to be warmer today, but in this area the vis was mostly off and it snowed most of the day. The snow was still blower though!

    not impressed...
(as I keep my head cold company and revel in the knowledge that any home turf tours involve a 500m+ death ski through the trees on a mostly rock hard melt crust...)

I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.

People who don't think the Earth is flat haven't skied Vail.

The 1st lesson when I teach my boys how to properly ski will be that bum wiggling up and down glaciers is about as gay as it gets. I get in way more vertical than you in between diaper duty anyways
