    FS: Sage SP 590-2

My favorite dry-fly rod of all time, medium action. Consistently fish this over my newer faster rods during summer hatches. Only selling because I picked up a 3 piece.

Really great shape, tube of course has character. tip section was replaced by Sage after a car door mishap a few years ago.

    $200+ship reasonable?

SP...oh the memories. That is a sweet rod. Too bad it's a 2pc.

This is a fantastic rod! I wish I needed another 5wt! Maybe I'm old school but I love the 2pc Sage and Winston medium action rods. Granted, 2 pcs aren't idea for travel, packing or biking/skiing to your favorite fishin' spot but for a general boat stick or one you put together as soon as you get out of the car.....why not?

There you have it, other SP lovers! This rod is really in excellent shape. Just some nicks in the butt aluminum, nothing in the graphite. Cork perfectly weathered by the sweat of my palm. OR Steel, CO Browns and Cutts, AK Bows....this rod has been around. Seems a shame to sell. I may have to reconsider...

Might be a long shot, but do you have any interest in a 5/6/7 wt 11'6" spey? I've got a Beulah I would be interested in trading.

So do you still have this rod? I have been debating back and forth in my head and if you still have it I will take it. If you can wait until next Monday when I am back in the office.

PM responded to. Now I just have to figure out how to slip another rod past the gate keeper!
