good to know and thank you @subtle. I trust the oracle more than my feeble weather skills. how long does that high pressure take hold....hoping for a mid month change....i usually come now'ish for 10-14 days and this year work has pushed me back due to meeting dates being changed.....therefore rolling dice mid month and hoping it can stay cool.

we moved back from france 4 years ago now back to nyc....fell in love with the alps and go back each march for a bit to chase snow. some years we get it good, some years, not so much...last year we arrived in limone as it was nuking (pretty fun) and then chased a bit but the snow sort of came to a stop and then it went dust on crust for a while.

I tried searching but the function sucks and I didn't come up with anything helpful. Sorry as I'm sure it's been covered before.
I'm looking for snow depth data and historical snow depth numbers. Does anything exist for Europe like in this link below? Just trying to figure out how snow is stacking up compared to average across the alps. Thanks!

Click on the Station.
Austrian stations exist somewhere Aa well. Current numbers with graph on

French have only a few stations buried on their annoying Website. It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

Thank you Subtle, that's awesome! I had found this site for SLF, but couldn't get to any actual data.

@subtle plague I'm getting a bit of a bump in my pants, several of the usual suspects quoting me happy amounts of snow in La Grave this weekend. what's your professional opinion, you're the only one a man can trust. "powder to the people" over "stay stoked every time"

@subtle- sorry to pile on, but beyond next weekend, what does your crystal ball look like for france. sseems like a mixed bag to dry and warm....getting a little worried going into mid month...any insights would be really helpful.
