Couldn't see the Jura due to constant rain in Geneva, but that must mean constant snow in the mountains, right?

Heading out to Stubai for a month next week, and whilst looking for snow forecasts/webcams came across this:

    Seriously considering not going now...:

Have been to Stubai Glacier twice. Once in November 2006 and second in March 2009... In March 2009 there was a lot of fresh snow, approximately 3 meters. However, I did not enjoy skiing in March 2009 either, despite the great snow depth. The reason is that no piste was groomed. In about 45 times I have skied, up to now I have never seen so many bumps. It was really annoying. The whole Stubai Glacier ski center offered off-piste ski conditions. Some skiers may like that. But I, who am used to groomed pistes, did not like it at all. I would not recommend it, nor would I go there again. I would instead prefer Axamer Lizum, which is much closer to Innsbruck and pistes there are really well groomed.... Stubaier Gletscher (Stubai Glacier) offers much less than what I was expecting from an Austrian ski center. I definitely prefer other ski centers in Tirol, like Axamer Lizum.
    Gambler would huck it

Seconded. I just wonder how to get rid of the kids too...

    ((half)-joking,of course, eh)

I've skied with some of the guys in Virne. Good to see some nice progression here and there...The guys have managed to stay away from the Pub Mont Fort at least on some days
"Average summit heights are around 1000m to 1200m but on the high glaciers of the main Lyngen Peninsula there are summits over 1400m with Jiehkkevarri being the highest at 1834m above sea level."

Jura has snow cover again, down to the top of the Gex lift but I wouldn't want to ski on it. Saleve is green, so it must be quite a bit warmer on that side of the valley.
