Keep an eye out for an email from Gary in the next couple days.
Need to reschedule, obviously.
If there are Sundays in Jan./Feb that don't work for you, post here or email me, and we'll try to get one that's good for all.

I coach skiing every Sunday, so no Sundays work for me...are saturdays a possibility?
As for the email about our next scheduled time, January 8th I have a required training for my coaching program.

Argh.
Gary says that's the only day that works for him, period.
It's no good for me, no good for you, no good for some others...
I'll see what our options are.
Wicked funny you are....Originally Posted by AntiSoCalSkier

An avalanche training field day requires snow to be of much value and snow is in short supply here.Originally Posted by AntiSoCalSkier

Our Ski Patrol did 20 straight days of avalanche control that month. Check out some of the photos.

Optics- just got an email from my coaching program. I can make the field day on the 8th because our mandatory training is on Jan 9th. Phew...sorry to cause any problems.
And that picture is super surreal and probably slightly indicative of the snowpack we are working on this year. I think I am going surfing in OR this weekend instead of trying to ski...![]()

I don't think that I should get docked points because I don't want to waste my money to ski shitty snow (Crystal base is 11 inches...) and trash my skis when I could do other adventure related activities...Originally Posted by Jumper Bones

Hah! Good point Optics....heh.
I did laundry instead, which is super-core.
I may still go yet again, just for fun. Although I may make a point to demo some skis from somebody else (if they'll let me).
