im headed to shasta and then rainier next summer. got fucked at rainier last year by weather. when are you gonna be up there Track?

get in good shape is the best advice i can give (as if im qualified). rainier pretty much wiped me out for a couple days. dont think i could even make it up now, after my college induced fattitude. and yea, get Freedom of the Hills and read it.

Late May? We were thinking about skiing the Emmons. I've descended it after Liberty, never climbed or skied it though. Looks fun.

I've been lucky on Rainier the three times I've been up there (Liberty-May Cleaver-August Cleaver October)
