Sweet, I had no idea your recovery had gone so well (relative to the worst case scenario, at least). FKNA, that's awesome! Glad you are getting back after it.

"I'm skiing like a wuss, don't expect much".... don't believe him.
He's not only skiing but skiing well as you can see in the vid.
The above pic should be prominently dated with a chronology, like Buttah mentioned.
Glad you're out of the closet, big dude. You're inspiring in more ways than one.

Thanks guys its been a tremendous experience, and now even more interesting finding out my limitations with skiing and figuring out how and if they can be surmounted. Here is some more weekend stoke from North VT BC.

Went out with mags vtfree, naton1, and pete tessler. These guys wanted to lap a zone I knew about, So we went up. Then did some great untracked pow mangling back to the car for 1500vt.

he goes big to stomp, pics dont really do it justice. landing is below 3rd set of rocks.

then pete tessler makes some spicy turns from the top

D, it has been a truly eye opening experience to be hanging with you through all of this. Most people don't realize how hard you've pushed yourself everyday through all the doctors telling you worst case scenarios, excruciating pain all day every day, lawyers and obstacles of all kinds. The mental toughness you show every day is the definition of true grit, and I am having a blast getting out with you this season!

Loving the stoke pics. I'll have to get my ass up there again this weekend to get after it again fo sho. Keep up the great work mang!

Great to see the work and recovery paying off. And with your winter, it must be nice to get out and play around.

I'm still having a little trouble wrapping my mind around the fact that you're back skiing already. The fact that you have come this far is truly astounding.

thanks for the stoke and keep it up!!

Well done, D. I'm really glad you're back on skis. Hopefully I can get up to hang this season.
