Cold protecting creme (aka Arlberger latschenkiefer salbe)

I'm trying to get a hold of the Arlberger latschenkiefer salbe here in America. Do you know anywhere I can find it? Or do you know any other kind of creme that protects from cold? Vail is FREEZING these days!

I gave my masseuse a bottle of Dr. Haushka's eye oil to use for my weekly visit. It keeps me from drying out. I also use it on my face and hands before I ride.

it is really expensive, but it works for me.

Do you know what the ingredients of the salve are? Curious.

Arlberg mountain pine cream containing the active ingredient mountain pine oil. From the high mountain pines, called Arlen, distilled oil stimulates blood circulation in the upper layers of the skin and leads to more rapid browning, among other things? However, without UV protection. The high fat content, the mountain pine cream protects the skin in addition to cold and wet weather from dehydration and injury. Furthermore, with one of the Arlberg mountain pine cream refresh tired legs and feet again, incite in venous disorders and circulatory disorders in the limbs by rubbing the circulation.

Try Aurora Henna Warm Skin - it's the crap Ann Bancroft and her "partners" use on the NP & SP expeditions. Must work.

Dermatone is the stuff. Great stuff, actually.

I'm not sure if the 'scent block" version is for hunting or just for your basic unwashed euro types.

    Now we're getting closer!
But I would appreciate finding "the real deal" anywhere in America. No one knows?

Man if Dermatone isn't the real deal I don't know what you're looking for. It was developed in Sweden to prevent frostbite during polar exploration, or so they tell us. All I know for sure is that it keeps skin from freezing.

Dermatone is in damn near every ski shop eerywhere.

they make a creme that sucks (except as sunblock) and a tin of SPF vaseline.

Its the face grease in the tin that you want. i use it all the time when it is fricking cold.

Old timers used to use bear fat grease. I use the Dermatone .

DasCunt - I'd suggest the same for you, but I know you're probably years away from puberty.
