My TX Pros have gotten floppy after only 45 days of skiing. I’m planning on getting a pair of Intuition Tour Wrap liners to stiffen them up a bit.
Does anyone know if the Intuition Tour liners that come stock in the TX Pro are low volume or medium volume?

That won’t stiffen the flex of the boot. That was a fix to keep your toes from getting crushed in early plastic tele boots.

Definitely originated due to toe crushing, but .... why wouldn't it also stiffen up soft bellows? Sure seemed to on my old purple T1s and Synergys . Note: I used a much stiffer plastic flower pot section - milk jugs always seemed too flimsy.
The stiffness in your tele boots in this regard comes from the boot sole not the bellows. The bellows just accommodate the sole flex.

Yeah the bellows have gotten pretty soft. Laterally the boots are still plenty stiff. It’s just that when I try to drive the cuff on each boot it doesn’t apply much pressure/power to the ski. I was hoping tour wrap liners might at least somewhat mitigate that. I have tx comps and outlaws on a different setup; those boots ski fine, but they don’t have the tts pins I need for the meidjos on my skis I use for bc and tight trees.
I’ll chime in with my unsolicited two cents but have you cranked up the resistance on your meidjos or added stiffy springs? I know some folks like relying on the boot for stiffness but something to consider.

Maybe. A possible contra-indication however: ruined a pair of Crispi WCs trying to punch out the toe boxes - got too close to the bellows with the heat gun, turned them into TX Pro bellows with corresponding flex and the sole was still pristine (toes were still getting pinched). So I'm inclined to think that the bellows stiffness is still significant.
This thread seems to be our go-to for tele lately, so a question:
My Bishop BMF/R’s aren’t that bomber. I’m on my second pair in two seasons. First pair Bishop warrantied. Second pair have 15 days on them. Lots of slop in the heel (yes they are adjusted correctly) and I can’t find a way to keep the plastic heel lock to actually stay locked. The lock has enough play in it that it often comes unlocked, which then given the loose/sloppy heel, the heel comes off and I kick off the ski. Just like pair #1 this is now happening ~5 times per day. It’s zapped my confidence on the hill (I never know when I’m going to to lose a ski). I need to find a way to reduce slop and keep the heel lock in place.
Anyone else have this issue? Springs on my first pair were completely shot after 25 days (though they are rated to 1,000,000 vertical feet of skiing, if I remember) which is what Bishop said was creating the slop. If anyone else is skiing this binding, how often are you replacing springs?
Thanks.

If anyone cares to watch, a 2 minute video that I sent with my warranty claim last season. Lots of carnage: 1 broken tour lock, 2 cracked toe cages, 1 broken plastic toe base, lots of missing plastic brake covers, shot springs after 25 days / 350,000 vertical.
(Edit: looks like I can’t add a video so here’s a photo)

Takes me back to the 1st gen Rotte NTN toe pieces.
Gravity. It's the law.
ski-wpk, sorry you're dealing with that. I got nothing. You need to shrink your feet!

WTB cheap T1/T2 or EnerG/SynerG in 26.0. A third of a century ago I dabbled, then guzzled the freeheel koolaid, then busted femur, then re-dabbled twice. Will spend time at a molehill for part of the season. If I can't find cheap boots I'll use leather like I did in olden times. Thanks
Lots of freeheeler sat Mission today.
The place was lousy with them, I think I saw four

Speaking of sightings, when we skied kirkwood Monday (few dozen cars in the ch 6 lot, chalky snow but not hudge coverage) I saw 7 telemarkers. It was a goddamn jamboree.
VERMIN!!!!
Sucks to not be able to trust your gear. Back in my 75mm days, I use to ski the original Bishops and loved them until I ran into repeated spring tube breakage.
I like to support local as much as I can,but not a big fan of their current binding. I felt they could have stolen some market share with a better design.
FWIW- Currently have 3 pairs of Freerides in rotation (1 orange, 1 black and 1 Fischer Price multicolor)
Best of luck with warranty
