Saw that guy Friday, I had eaten a small handful of mushrooms and thought it very amusing

I once ripped out a tele binding and had to ski 1200 vert on one leg; no way I would do that voluntarily.

Hammerheads on five. Yes. Do not bend the knee. This is the only way.

I should probably move them forward but each time I do I regret it. I like position 3. I had an ass over tea kettle yesterday though that took me out for today. I landed on a rock. I felt rocks before I launched so I knew that might happen. Sure enough. Fortunate to have landed on some some glute padding instead of vertebrae I guess.

Skis on outrigger but not really leaning into them much.

It was a joke based on that meme video.

    Whoosh

PS. Haven’t ridden them in a long time. But I thought 3 was about right.
But at 5. No need to bend the knee. You can pee standing up.

Hear ya. Descended 2500 feet from near the top of Snowbowl where I snapped my Toute Neige against a mogul. It took awhile but was still faster than walking. And slightly more dignified. [emoji3]

Still miss those damn skis, they ripped. (Yeah, the red ones.)

I think you mean rearward, moving forward would be position 2 then 1. 3 is good, they ski like a BD 01 or O2. I’m glad you didn’t hurt yourself worse. Lock your heel and ski for real

If you call yourself a free heeler and haven't done this at least once, you're a dilettante.

Yes correct. I would really regret moving them forward. Plus the old ones are a real pain to move.

Having to ski on one ski doesn't necessarily require blowing up a binding. Merely improperly mounting will suffice.

I pulled out a hammerhead at the top of the hill. Like three turns in. By the time I got to the bottom I had the technique pretty much figured out. I was doing a falling leaf and lost the most altitude going backwards.
