    Canadian Meds

My Vizsla contracted Blastomycosis, a fairly rare fungal disease.

    http://www.canismajor.com/dog/blstomyc.html

The problem is the Sporonox is frickin expensive, $30 a day for up to six months.

Any of you Yank's purchased med's from a Canadian online pharmacy? It's over 1/2 off, but I need to know that it's the real deal?

Funny you should ask... My wife just happens to run a Canadian Pharma distribution called TrustedFill. We just got it started, but it's legit as can be. She said this drug comes out of New Zealand so you can save some serious cash here...
    www.trustedfill.com
She said she can get it for around $30-60/week.

Give her a call 1.877.386.0206 x1 Her name is Maya and the Rev Floater can vouch for her if you like.

I'll hit you with a PM with her email addy if you would prefer.

If you qualify for low income assistance you can go to her other company and possibly get the drugs for free. www.simplefill.com

P.S. Sorry for the blatent biz plug...

Dogs are people too and vets can write prescriptions.
If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.

Yep, it looks like TrustedFill.com does have it, so you're in luck. I'll cross post this in Gimp Central as it could be helpful there too.

    GGL:

Thanks, Maya has been extremely helpful so far explaining the process. Now I need to get my Vet on board to write a three month script.

The savings are astronomical. No wonder the US health care system is so screwed up!

My Vet doesn't recommend the generic and the scrips for two a day.
I've checked all the local pharmacies, CVS, Wallmart, Walgreens and the going rate is around 20/$297.

Trustedfill's prices are much lower. The lead time is long, but Maya was very upfront about that. I feel much more comfortable ordering now that I've talked with her. I will let you guys know how it goes, but I am very optimistic right now.

There is a good chance your vet is not recommend the generic because he is in cahoots with the name brand. Did you ask the pharmacists if there was a difference?

Just a heads up. I got the Rx filled through Trustedfill.com and it arrived in about two weeks from New Zealand. Genuine Sporonox packaged in the manufacturers foil packs. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again and it's so much cheaper, it's really unbelievable!

Thanks to Mya and G. Gordon Liddy!

My dog's doing much better. The Blastomycosis went into his joints and I almost lost him. We went on a short tour this weekend. It's going to be a long road back to the 25 milers he used to do, but at least he's alive!

Thanks, Shredhead. Glad we could help. So glad to hear your dog is doing better!!

We're working right now to get a special deal set up for all TGR members. We'll have a code you can use shortly to get 15-20% off of your first order. I'll throw it in Gimp Central too (Sticky, perhaps?).

I'll post the code up as soon as it's ready. If you want to start now, just hit me with a PM and we'll set something up for you.

These are the most ordered meds from last year:

I'm not an expert on pharma manufacturing but I've always heard that generics are allowed up to +/- 15% on the exact dosing compared with name brand, which is pretty minimal. I always recommend the generics but there's always the occasional odd bird who insists that only the name brand will do... and i'm happy to oblige.
