    Design Contest Extension

New Deadline for submission is January 21st. Winner announced Feb 1.

Have an idea for a cool T-shirt, Hoody, or Hat? We're looking for a cool new Maggot inspired design to slap on our gear. Show us what you've got and if we pick your design we'll send you 20 copies of the final product and some other stuff so you can hook up your bro's (or keep them all for yourself - whatever).

I know you've seen one of these contests from us before and there were some problems, so below are the rules and regs. Hopefully they cover your concerns. If not, post a reply and I'll do my best to answer any questions.

    Rules:
    1) Original Pro designs only. Please, no napkin sketches, novels describing your idea, or clear rip-offs of someone else's work - slag like that goes in the round file.

    2) Deadline for submission is December 20th. After that we're pretty much in the pow.

    3) Send us finished work as an Adobe Illustrator (8.0 or below), Adobe Photoshop (7.0 or below) or .jpg file.

    4) Creative restrictions - would you buy it if you saw it? If so, cool. If not...

    Legal :
TGR staff will be the final judge of all designs, and though we feel pretty good that you'll send us some excellent work, there's no guarantee we'll pick any of the designs from the submissions. If we do choose your design, TGR then becomes the owner of that design to use as we see fit. You'll get recognition on our site, 20 copies of the finished product, and some other cool gear that we'll finalize around the 13th of December. We'll announce the results of the contest on January 14th, 2005.

Send your submission file to sales@tetongravity.com.

You think you could give us a couple of high quality stock TGR logos to work with?

-edit- lots of good stock to work with in the "store". logos from stickers...etc.

Makes sense to post that. I'm sure he checks the board every time he wants to see if he got an email.

are you looking to redesign the TGR logo, a variation on it (like the overspray t-shirt), or something completely separate from the logo (like the jib and and plate t-shirts)? or all of the above?

We don't really want to put restrictions on what you come up with. If you've got a great idea for a logo variation, or a complete redesign, we're open to checking it out.

As far as getting existing logos - you can copy the images off our site and paste them in as placeholders. We can work on putting high res versions into the designs once we've got a final selected.
