I would see if you can find a way to get home without riding on the road. Then pick up a cheap snowmobile.
I wonder what the local cops would say if they saw that rig. I have a couple of street legal KTM 300's and the retrofit to a track/ski is 3-4 grand. It is registered and insured as a motorcycle in the summer, but would that hold over to the winter usage?

I always pick up people with a thumb and skis/boards on the way to the hill, I assume others do the same

x2, there's lots of aftermarket golf cart options too, lifts, big tires, etc. With some knobby tires on one I don't even think you'd need chains. The electric motor ones got a good amount of weight due to batteries.
Or just buy a jeep, lift the shit out of it and never have to shovel it out.

One more vote for the Pugsly bike with snowtires and a 32-20 sprocket, but I'd love to try this...

    This is so random, lol.
No bus, huh? That's a shame.
ATV's can usually be street legal with blinkers, lights, plates, etc. Not a bad idea.
Ok, time to stop being lazy and go skiing.
    No longer stuck.
