Hornsby at the Mishawaka tomorrow. Haven’t seen him for 15+ years, is he still good?

Get to see Julian Rachlin conducting and soloing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto tonight. My high school orchestra won State playing that piece, i don't miss a chance to hear it again...
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

For the record it was only ok. Don’t recommend spending big money to see him. Sloppy on the difficult passages, timing was off.

Yo Yo doing the Bach cello suites full program at Red Rocks.
Still trying to find a rip.
Let me know if you are holding a torrent or a CPR web rip.
It's going to be a hell of a week for me with concerts. Pixes/Weezer at White River (boo) tonight followed by Pearl Jam at Safeco on Wednesday and Friday. Going to be tired by next weekend.
Saw the Descendents last night for the first time in 30 years. Holy crap do they still rip.

Pixies were great and Weezer put on a hell of a rock show. Unexpected energy from them.
Bittersweet to think that my face might never be melted again by a Kerry King solo after tonight. Hell awaits was badass, as was AOD of course.
Moonlight Music Festival last night. Great setup for a new festival. Chris Robinson Brotherhood played an impressive set for their short time slot. Way better than when I saw them in a few years ago. What really blew me away was SAM BUSH!!! I have been a New Grass Revival fan for years and recently started to listen to all his solo records. Holy fuck. His band SHREDS. I will never ever miss a Sam Bush show ever again.
Hot Tuna ripped the rococo crenelated roof off the Neptune Theatre, Seattle last night.
Fuck.
Left no doubt as to Jack Casadys claim to be at the top of the most monster bass players of rock and Jorma Kaukonens mastery of the electric guitar from articulated picking of delta blues to the acid etched extractions of psychedelic tweezed rock. Steve Kimock joined them for about half of each set.
In the 2 completely electric sets over 3+ hours they just fucking rocked the house covering mostly stuff from the first 3 albums and Americas Choice. It was LOUD and intricate. So good. Magnificent.
They're hitting Portland, Or today, then head south down the coast before going inland to Las Vegas and Arizona, all electric Hot Tuna, before hopping to the East Coast for what appears to be more acoustic sets.
Here's the tour schedule:

If you like electric rock guitar, go see one of these shows by the maestros of the genre.

^^nice. with the old legends, i feel like it may always be the last time opportunity to see them.
I saw hot tuna electric in the late 90's at the ventura co fairgrounds (on the beach) with hornsby sitting in on accordian. unforgettable performance. also saw jorma (acoustic fingerpicking), kenny burrell, stanley jordan, and famous flamenco player (forgot name) play solo sets then a joint set.
Gary Clark, Jr. at Red Rocks last night was a blast. That dude can shred. Absolute blues legend.
((. The joy I get from skiing...
.))
((. That's worth living for.

I went to Jeff Chang concert in Reno. Full house and I only saw two other Caucasian’s, one that I knew. It was great! The guy can really sing in a Wayne Newton kinda way. Not my style of course but it was a great show. Backup band was like the allman bros.
Old classmate posted this poster from my first concert. Bruce had to bail, Muddy Waters sat in. I was confused why people were sharing...cigarettes...
I can still remember that concert better than many from the last few years.

Not at the concert but watching the free screencast [party foul]. Stoked to hear David thank the crowd, saying....we always said we'd play for ten to ten thousand....well, you are that, we actually did it, we thank you.
