Any Seattle mags going to Slayer tomorrow? Abe?

Nice! I'm not going. Taking care of a sick girl tonight
Primus last night at Edgefield tore it up! I had not seen them since mid 90s, crazy!

Slayer was amazing. For a bunch of old guys they still got it.
Looking forward to Chris Robinson Brotherhood tonight and then Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' in the park tomorrow. Good two days of music![]()

Provided I was in to the music, this looks like a slice of heaven.
Did Sigur Ros do something similar?
I'm absolutely in to the music and a bit jealous. I saw Truckfighters recently and they put on a great show and Brant Bjork does not suck. That looks like an awesome combination of intimate venue and open air show.
I've hit the shows pretty hard this year (for me).
Japandroids at The Neptune. Great energy. I was sick, so I hung out in the back to not get bounced around, but what a show. Highly recommend.
TOOL at the Gorge was amazing. 15 rows from the stage meant a pretty mind blowing experience.
Next two are Sturgill Simpson at Marymoore and NOFX at the Punk in Drublic Fesitval with Bad Religion and Goldfinger. Cannot wait. Music from my youth (and in NOFX's case, the present)
Sad to miss Rancid and Dropkick Murphys this week, but family duties took precedence.
The Melvins will be playing at the Urban Lounge in Salt Lake 8/17. Be there or be square
Tonight's lineup at the local small venue:
English Beat
Modern English
Katrina & the Waves
Howard Jones
Men w/o Hats - Safety Dance

This year is all time for me, so many good shows in my queue. Just bought tickets for Evanescence today. Amy Lee is a singing Goddess for me and to see them with an orchestra backing them up will be great.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
You go to the Belly Up?
His venue in Aspen, is my favorite indoor, anywhere.
I haven't been to the Belly Up in years. Usually the bands I want to see are playing at larger venues. Super excited to see Al Dimeola in Sept. He is playing at a really cool old theater I have always wanted to see a show at.

Huh, I don't think I was aware of Al Dimeola, so I googled him up. Holy cow is that guy good. From New Jersey? Get Out!![]()

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at Rogers on Thursday Nite was amaziing! Sad I'm missing out on ZZ Top at the Fairgrounds, though...

Went to Chris Isaak the other night and was entirely entertained. Not a lot of improv going on it would seem, but a canned show of entertainment including a lot of comedy. The guys voice is pretty outstanding and the band did not miss one chord. For a show we thought we'd bail on at half time, it ended up being much better than expected.
Stickmen last night was a badass prog rock trio

^We wanted to see those guys recently somewhere, but something got in the way.
