That will be awesome! I still have never seen a show at Red Rocks. It's on the list.

At least you can buy tickets. We were kind of bummed that we couldn't, but my wife was super lucky to win a pair.

They played a lot of the new tunes and threw in a few of the old ones.

"Willie got me stoned and took all my money
I was 50 dollars up and then my mind went funny
It didn't really help that I didn't know the rules of the game
And it probably didn't help that I couldn't remember my name" -Jack Johnson

Pretty funny tune last night. But what a shitshow trying to get in. Waited two fucking hours in will call line and missed half the show. To Jack's credit, the show ended and he came back out as he had heard the news, and played at least 6 or 7 more tunes, including the Willie Nelson one. [emoji106]

In hindsight it's partially my fault. I should have known when buying the tics...as there was no option to print tickets..that will call would be a junkshow. Only other selection was around a $12 or $14 dollar mailing for a $0.49 stamp! Next time (well, never going back to xfinity center again) I'd pay the bs fee.

Have you seen him live, before?
His band is amazing, pay attention to his drummer, guy is incredible.
I caught Beck two years ago, it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

I heard he was great at Wriggly.

I went to RHCP and the sound was off. Don't really like big venues.

Hadn't seen Iron Maiden since they played outdoors at Ozzfest more than 10 years ago, so went down to see their arena show in Oakland last week. I like the new CD Book Of Souls, a pretty strong effort IMO. They played lots of the new stuff and a bunch of classics too. Good fun!

Petty and heartbreakers at forest hills. 40 yr tour and they really brought their A game. Crowd gave him a 2 minute standing O after first song, and he payed that back in full.
Mike Campbell is sorely under rated as a rock guitarist.
Biggest surprise of the night was Peter Wolf warming them up - that dude is 72 and does a jagger /Tyler groove better than both.
    Fantastic 3.5 hrs

Drive By Truckers at The Egg on Tuesday with Goniff and a non-mag friend. The sound there is unbelievable.

Last week's Guitar an Scene festival with Glenn Hughes (ex-Deep Purple) and Yes ARW. The old guys can still rock out and their voices sounded great.

Classic East was a lot of fun.
Earth, Wind and Fire was a big party.
    Journey, not so much.
    Loved Fleetwood Mac.
    Perfect Summer night concert.
