Daniel Donato and Cosmic Country play a nice set. I enjoyed it and the guy can play.
Lineup Day 2…
Dogs in a Pile… one of my Kids faves…
Neighbor played a good, if mellow , set…
Pigeons Playing Ping Ping tore it up in the Rain to keep everyone up and moving…
String Cheese with my Kid showing a Little One how to ride the rail and get down… warmed my heart with Father’s Day approaching…

I watched some of the acts during the afternoon sets and was really disappointed by the sound quality. None of the bands stood out as original but Men I Trust came closest.

Super stoked to get to see La Cuna Coil in Austin TX October 24th. Sure, they played in LA a month ago, but the wife will not go to GA only concerts, so road trip time to see one of my favorites.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

We volunteered parking bikes at the Waterfront last night and got free tix to see Gregory Alan Isakov. Security was so bad that the line was 500+ people long even after Josh Ritter finished out his opening set.
Most importantly, I went to the temporary box office to buy tickets for James McMurtry in September and also won 2 tickets to see Low Cut Connie (which I was planning on also buying) the weekend after Labor Day!

Many thanks and praises to ticketchecker and partner for a nice flat spot to sleep in the van, great breakfast and company, and an amazing lily for the bud vase from their garden!

Dispatch at the Dillon Amp last night was a great set. Always a fun show. Added treat of opener 17yro Emelise. Guess she had been busking outside Coors Field since she was quite young. Quite the talent for her age, and added treat of watching her parents sitting in front of us watching her. Tears in their eyes and tears in the mothers around watching their tears. It was a moment.
